Storyteller is built to support the expectations Ofsted inspects against. Identity work, records and a child's understanding of their own history sit squarely within ILACS and the Children's Homes Quality Standards, and Storyteller gives teams a clear, contemporaneous record of that practice rather than evidence assembled after the fact. The draft Fostering Quality and Development Standards consultation is open until 16 September 2026, and we are following it closely so fostering services stay ready for what follows.
